Silicon Carbide Abrasive
The Standard Abrasives Cleaning Disc is constructed of large nylon filament and coarse silicon carbide grain for rapid removal of surface contaminants. Silicon carbide is a very sharp synthetic mineral commonly used in low-pressure applications like paint prep. While the mineral breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it produces a finer finish.
