The Drillco Nitro 440N series drills have a 135 degree split point with a straight shank. The drill bit body and clearance are black and gold treated for maximum lubricity. They feature a nitride surface treatment providing a protective layer that increases hardness without increasing brittleness, making these drill bits easurably harder than regular high speed steel.
