Scotch® Solvent Resistant Masking Tape 2040 delivers excellent, conformable adhesion with high holding power. Its strong backing reduces tearing. Use with most solvent-based and lacquer coatings to produce an excellent tape line. These rolls are individually shrink-wrapped.
This tape provides excellent adhesion to most surfaces and provides high holding power, works well with most solvent based and lacquer coatings, and is ideal for use in cool temperatures. It also reduces tearing with the strong tape backing and conforms well to most surfaces, which produces an excellent paint line. It is not for extended outdoor use.
DO NOT USE on easily damaged surfaces, such as:
- Wall paper
- Wallboard
- Ceiling tile
- Uncured coatings
- Other delicate surfaces
Not for extended outdoor use.
