The 3M™ Speedglas™ 9100 Welding Helmet Outside Protection Plate high temperature outside protection plate is formulated from an engineered resin to resist higher heat applications. This is recommended for use in high amperage welding or conditions where long weld beads may generate radiant heat.
The 3M™ Speedglas™ 9100 Welding Helmet Outside Protection Plate scratch resistant outside protection plate is hard coated and available for use in demanding environments to help resist scratching, abrasion and spark and spatter. This option is standard on all new 9100 helmet assemblies.
