The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad 4 Inch features 100 percent wool for a fast cut that quickly refines abrasive sand scratches on automotive painted surfaces. Yet the pad leaves virtually no lint residue which can lead to inefficient cleanup and rework. Single-sided pads feature insets for easy centering on rotary polishers and Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for quick change-outs.
Fast-Cutting Wool with Less Lint for Effective Compounding
Featuring a 100% wool abrasive that quickly refines paint defects including sand scratches of P1200 or finer, the 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad 4 Inch is excellent for the compounding process in collision repair. These fast-cutting single-sided pads feature 100% wool fibers which are individually stitched to the pad instead of twisted into tufts. This means that the fibers hold more securely to the pad vs. twisted fibers during use, greatly reducing the chance of lint particles which can add cleanup time and even rework. A 4” diameter is great for control and access when compounding small areas and in tight spaces.
