3M™ ASJ Facing Tape 2C105 is a 7.5 mil, reinforced tape with a conformable, pressure-sensitive backing that can conform to duct piping systems. 3M™ ASJ Facing Tape 2C105 can be used as a closure on traditional all service jacket (ASJ) faced duct piping and as a vapor seal on traditional ASJ-faced duct board and pipe insulation. The backing is made with a white kraft, scrim, and foil laminate that is coated with a cold-weather acrylic adhesive, making it easy to mold around irregular and curved surfaces, with excellent performance in a range of temperatures. 3M™ ASJ Facing Tape 2C105 is easy to install by hand without special tools or application methods. It also maintains its adhesive strength and is puncture, tear, humidity and mold resistant. Facing meets ASTM C1136, type I, II, III and IV. Flexible Backing Conforms to Duct Piping Systems
3M™ ASJ Facing Tape 2C105 is a 7.5 mil, tri-directional reinforced tape that excels in demanding temperature and humidity applications. It is comprised of a kraft/scrim/foil laminated backing coated with a cold weather acrylic adhesive. The backing is flexible and conforms to irregular surfaces and curves. It features excellent performance in a range of temperature applications. Mold inhibiting agents help prevent the build-up of mold in the adhesive caused by humid and damp conditions.

3M™ ASJ Facing Tape 2C105 is UL 723 Classified (15/10 Flame/Smoke Rating). This facing meets ASTM1136, Type I, II, III and IV.

Cold Weather Performance
3M™ ASJ Facing Tape 2C105 is coated with a proprietary, pressure sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive specifically designed for cold weather applications, though this adhesive performs well at normal and high temperatures as well. With a service temperature ranging from -40°F/-40°C to 240°F/116°C, this tape can be applied in a variety of environmental conditions. This adhesive features quick stick at normal temperatures and excellent low temperature performance. Once bonded, it will provide good holding power for extended periods with good aging properties that resist lifting and curling.

Efficient Long-Term Installation
3M™ ASJ Facing Tape 2C105 applies easily to various types of thermal insulation, and is easily installed without special tools or application methods. The ASJ facing is conformable for consistent application even when applied to irregular surfaces or around curves. It is also tri-directionally reinforced, helping ensure that the material stays in place even when subjected to high shear loads.
