Product Description
Advantages of 3M™ All Purpose Sealant Primer P591
- COMPATIBLE WITH MOST SURFACES: Maximizes bonding on acrylics, polycarbonates, polyester, metal, glass, and plastics
- VERSATILE APPLICATION: Improves bond integrity in applications across the marine, rail, automotive, and specialty vehicle industries
- CREATE A STRONGER BOND: Promotes adhesion and increases bond durability on medium-low energy surfaces
- PROTECTS AGAINTS MOISTURE: Its ability to prepare moisture resistant bonds is excellent for mounting portholes, panels, and windshields on vehicles prone to wet environments.
- GET THE MOST OUT OF 3M ADHESIVES: This low-viscosity adhesive promoter is made for use with 3M Polyurethane Adhesives Sealants 500-Series and 3M Silane Modified Polymer Adhesive Sealants 700-Series
3M™ All Purpose Sealant Primer P591 prepares surfaces to maximize bonding, resist moisture, and support bond integrity. A primed surface optimizes the performance of 3M™ Adhesive Sealants 500-series and 700-series on typical substrates like fiberglass, PVC, polycarbonate, aluminum, stainless steel, cold rolled steel, and glass. Its moisture resistance is ideal for bonding glass, acrylic, and polycarbonate windows like portholes and windshields on boats, RVs, railcars, buses, trucks, specialty vehicles, and trailers.
Exceptional Performance on Acrylics, Polycarbonates and Polyester
As versatile as it is effective, 3M™ All Purpose Sealant Primer P591 works as well on substrates like metal, glass, plastics, wood and concrete as it does on acrylics, polycarbonate and polyester substrates. This primer is a low viscosity adhesion promoter designed for use with the 3M™ 500-Series Polyurethane Adhesives/Sealants and 3M™ Silane Modified Polymer 700-Series Adhesive Sealants, as well as the 3M™ Polyurethane Glass Adhesive Sealant 590 with or without 3M™ Adhesion Promoter AP596.
