3M™ Adhesion Promoter K520UV is an automotive adhesion promoter designed to enhance the adhesion of 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tapes and 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tapes to challenging polyolefin-based substrates like thermoplastic olefins (TPO), polypropylene (PP) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber.
An acetone solvent, 3M™ Adhesion Promoter K520UV dries quickly to minimize downtime and maximize work efficiency. This ready-to-use, pre-mixed solution improves bond strength, helping ensure a durable adhesive bond. It contains a fluorescent dye that makes it easily visible once applied and helps technicians to quickly verify that coverage is complete and consistent for a reliable bond.
