3M™ Nitrile High-Performance Rubber and Gasket Adhesive 847 works with neoprene, nitrile rubber (BUNA), SBR, and butyl rubbers to metal, wood, and various plastics. It fights moisture and heat, remaining effective in temperatures up to 250°F (121°C).
The product is solvent-based with a low viscosity for easy application on items in oil-exposed areas, such as fuel lines, tanks, and panels. You can also use it for rubber patching and leather repair. For a higher viscosity, go for 847H (5-gallon pail) instead.

Like the rubber and gasket adhesives, 3M™ Nitrile High-Performance Plastic Adhesive 1099 is solvent-based. It is quick-drying and resistant to water, oil, and fuel exposure. Use this adhesive for automotive aftermarket repairs, banners, awnings, and general industrial and MRO. For an even lower viscosity than 1099, try 1099L (5-gallon pour spout pail).
